Freyr can't fight, but he's an anti-meta card who paralyzes strong units like Zephiel or Edelgard from making their plays, and checks rampers (mainly manaketes, yellow decks) with free resources

Freyr can even be combo'd with c2 Tiki to bond defeated enemies during your own turn

IMO, Fire Emblem needs to do a better job of portraying the interpersonal dynamics of its villain cast.

Brunnya and Selena are super interesting because they are implied to have feelings for their leaders (Zephiel and Vigarde respectively) and it's just not explored enough.
