모래요정 바람돌이(1985)는 "Five children & it" 이 원작(국내에는 모래요정과 다섯아이들로 번역출간)으로 제목이 저렇게 된 것은 일본판 동화 번역제목이 모래요정이어서 그렇다 한다.

여하튼 1980년대 중반에 글로벌하게 수출되어 꽤 인기를 얻었고 당시 유년기 TV 시청자들에게 인상적이었다고.

Another early reference for the collection was "La fièvre d'Urbicande", a graphic novel by Belgian comic artists François Schuiten and Benoît Peeters from 1985. A dark lattice structure that grows until it envelops Earth, a fitting backstory for O B S C V R V M 🤔
