My Favourite C64 Coders No.34
John Darnell
John made a variety of great C64 games. He co-coded Dragon's Lair & Escape From Singe’s Castle for Software Projects & alone made the budget hits Kane/Kane 2 (Mastertronic) as well as Match Day 2 (Ocean) & Star Paws (S.P. again).
Degree-less German and American kids wake up to code and set up many startups used worldwide including by Kenyan Members of Parliament. Meanwhile, Kenyan MPs pass a law requiring Kenyan coders to have a degree, to register, pay an annual fee for a license. Very colonised minds.⚖️
My Favourite C64 Coders No.36
Gregg Barnett
Gregg worked on a diverse range of games from The Hobbit and Sherlock to Hungry Horace and Rock N Wrestle. But his finest achievement is one of the greatest C64 games ever made. The magnificent, The Way of the Exploding Fist.

My Fave C64 Coders No.39
Martin Walker
Martin’s first C64 game was 1985's Rupert & the Toymaker’s Party. In 86 he made Chameleon & in 87 came Hunter’s Moon. He then chronicled the making of Citadel in ZZAP’s ‘Walker's Way'. All ace games. So, we can forgive Back to the Future.

@FNFNewsAnnounc1
2020 ago when #ENA is blewing up me and a coder friends of mine has this idea of a fully flage game based around #wierdcore s worlds, but sadly we dint get to far in developing it since in that year our path are separated, now the only things left are these concept arts,
probably we gonna need more coders, composers and charters but i wanna have all art done first
Merci pour le Art Train @Givr_ !
Moi aussi je passe plus de temps à coder qu'à faire de l'art🤓Mais j'ai quand même des choses en stock (merci les jam) !

My Favourite C64 Coders No.48
Peter Baron
Peter wasn’t prolific, but what he lacked in quantity, he made up for in quality. C64 Salamander is awesome, & Myth: History in the Making is one of the finest platformers of the 80s & both were massive 94% ZZAP! Sizzlers. A class act.

My Favourite C64 Coders No.49
Mike Singleton
The C64 wasn’t Mike’s main machine but I couldn’t do a list of great 80s coders without mentioning him. He had a hand in the C64 conversions of Lords of Midnight & Doomdark’s Revenge and co-coded Quake Minus One. RIP Mike. A genius.
My Favourite C64 Coders No.50
Tony Pomfret
In just two years, Tony put his stamp on the C64 games world by coding six titles for the old breadbin. Hysteria for Software Projects, Mikie for Imagine & Firefly & Hunchback II: Quasimodo's Revenge for Ocean are my three favourites.
#coding near to metal.

My Favourite C64 Coders No.53
Richard Darling
The Darling Brothers made 16 games between them for the C64. Richard was the most prolific and worked on some of the Commie’s best budget titles including BMX Simulator, Pro BMX Simulator, Chiller, Master of Magic & Spellbound.
