I'm shocked that New Horizons didn't grab it, as they did nab the family-friendly monster Filipino film VULCAN (1997) the following year. Maybe because VULCAN was directed by their main guy Cirio H. Santiago? Still waiting on a release of the original 1959 version with subs!
