Doing some art to Arapuca, our new Mega Drive game. Hand draw, water colour painting, scan, and them the 16 color pixel art. I take the scan, reduce to 320x224, reduce the colors to 32 colors, then hand picked the palette to reduce to 16, and retouched all adding manual dithering

I tried out the pressure sensitivity settings in Aseprite. Not really pixel art per se? But I don't really care, it was fun!

I might play around with dithering and pressure sensitivity later on, but we'll see.

For some reason myself and found some Super Mario Galaxy concept art of the penguins hilarious, so I made the 2 faces we enjoyed the most into Twitch emotes. It was also a good excuse to try some different dithering out too.
