dishing out new characters like a madman lately.
this is my first🏳️⚧️oc! he is a monster of sadness, fear, and innocence. his palette is inspired by the sea. the pattern and gradients on his arms and legs are meant to be like the tide coming in and going out
the way i screamed when i found out that this picrew had hair gradients that actually matched my design 😭
@afdhal_jiffry So I’ll often take the context from the surrounding scene (singular light, vague room/space layout and infer where the character is,
But I’ll always prioritize appealing composition over sticking strictly to the layout I’ve imagined and I’ll use the gradients to highlight (1/?)
Trying a different approach to coloring, using the lasso tool, an air brush, and gradients maps. It's pretty fun imo #Squigly #Skullgirls
Recently dropped a new collection on @foundation called ELEMENTAL GRADIENTS

When you spend time with the Gradis collection, it is the ancestry that resonates and becomes memorable. Then, within ancestry, some have more compelling or less compelling color gradients.
Froggito & Drudis samples below. What’s your favorite ancestry?
#EV9! Which one is your favorite? I feel the fully rendered one was too much for some reason... I think it looks so much better like this (just gradients). 💗
#Pokemon #FurryArt #Eevee #Eeveelution
first start out with your flat color layer, Here I have two layers visible- lineart and flat colors. I like to add things like gradients and such on my flat color layer as well. Also, the brush I use to line is the Round Mixing Brush with these settings :D
@KarhuJuntti @RyudieNoodle @today_gd i only really like using gradients when they create a 3rd colour between or have a purpose and arent just placed randomly to fill in space
me too i would like to do the vtuber vs irl trend (kind of since the picrew doesn't have hair gradients) ☺️💜
Vtuber vs IRL
I did my best with the tools given 😭 cant split colors or do gradients so this is the end result! I like it!
and the IRL one is pretty darn close lol, my hair is that long >.<
(yes I do have sharp teeth but they havent been showcased ever :p)
Theres not enough black/brown gradients to show it, but my VTuber's hair is more of a brown-black when mine is a black-brown
wip close ups for my #MerMay piece! got all the watercolor base gradients down, now it’s time for details
"Singh-Raha" (2009). Entry for the Little Computer People '09 #Amiga graphics compo, placed 1st 😃 32 colours, 320x256 pixels. Using patterns instead of gradients, taking advantage of the #pixelart medium. Also check out -> https://t.co/iAHHvI6f8P
