you dont need to develop your style wholly off of what you like in other artists. You can develop your style by just wistfully experimenting with whatever crosses your mind too. A lot of my style was from this, like the triangle and dot highlights, the entire way i render hair

Last step is add some highlights, it's some minor detail but still make some improvement to the piece

The mayority of the highlights are whites or light colors but in the case of Red I put some brown in his dark hair

I wonder why GF constantly changes Red's hair color

I began drawing w/ Medibang on my ipad back in early 2018, so this year I feel like my art has improved a bit which is pretty gucci. More dynamic poses, trying highlights, becoming better at shading etc.
I hope I can draw anatomy better next year 😂
