Decided to have a go at editing the texture file a bit further on my Ramen face rig, so I can use the rigging and have my own artwork that fits into the same space...

And I'm really pleased with the result!

Unsure if I'll work on this again so time to share before I forget.

I made a 3D model of Velvet in Blender to better understand character rigging and animation. She comes complete with an IK rig, softbody physics, and point-tracking eyes.

I had an extra day off from projects today and I decided to spend it by... working on another project! I spent the whole day cleaning up April's rig, adding IK controllers to her and committing to making custom shapes for all her bones. Not much to go anymore!

me realizing I could have just animated something in a complex movie-quality rig, convert it to a humanoid rig animation, and then apply it to a simpler, less heavy rig and this is probably standard practice for videos game
