I finished that I got bayleef and xatu. Some of you were pretty close with meganium! I made a feathery sauropod-ish thing. Though it ended up looking more tortoise-ish.

A semi realistic version and a smoll stylized one. I prefer the head shape on the stylized one.

Eodromaeus is regarded as one of the earliest members of Theropoda, the group that includes the carnivorous dinosaurs, along with Eoraptor likely representing one of the most basal sauropodomorphs, the group that includes sauropods. Art by Todd Marshall.

Guided by Henry's illustrations, the morphology, along with phylogenetic analysis shows that sauropods evolved giant articular cartilage caps good at resisting compression; while theropods expanded the femoral 'head' to deal with compression and shear.

Cthulhu Mythos Saga battle/world overview maps for Petersen Games!

Yes, I finally got to make a Sauropod battle map. I mean, dreams do come true, you know? :)

These are for the adventure path (act 1) for Yig Snake Granddaddy. More soon!

crenatissimus was a Abelisauridae from Madagascar, in life he was 2 meters tall and have 7 meters in length. It was the apex predator of his ecosystem, preying on sauropods like Rapetosaurus.

Brontosaurus? Apatosaurus? Here's a sauropod.

Honestly, it's not unlikely. For example, in the book there is this weird sauropod named Asperdorsus, with spines coming out from the neck, back and tail and looks like something that you'd call edgy. Then there is Bajadasaurus.

Little known fact about Brachiosaurus: they're total snobs! Just because they're so big and tall, they think they're better than everyone else! I guess it only makes sense that such a large animal would look down on other dinos.

Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, there is no reason to think sauropods would have been unable to swim, and in fact we have trackways that seem to have caught them in the act!

In part 6, we looked at the ranges of sauropod species. This is the most controversial part in the series because I pushed the idea that may have exhibited intracontinental faunal endemism ... https://t.co/CbcdmG2VL1

According to the London Natural History Museum, there is only one land dinosaur who’s name begins with the letter ‘Q’, the Quaesitosaurus! A sauropod from the Late Cretaceous, name meaning ‘extraordinary lizard’ 🦕

Another scene (which will be featured in my documentary p2 - coming soon!) shows a mass feeding event on the carcass of a dinosaur in a flooding river channel.

Did you know that many turtles chomp on carcasses?

Suffice to say that osteological variation within extant megamammal taxa - even those now suspected to be species complex (like extant Giraffa) - is subtle and not like the significant variation seen in the Morrison Prothero compared them with. Ok, moving on...

The funniest have got to be fossils that got stepped on by other animals. My two favorites are a Plesiochelys shell stepped on by a sauropod and a Tarbosaurus skull stepped on by a Saurolophus.

I realized that I haven't posted much of the Graphic Novel stuff here on Twitter recently, so here some details of pictures I'm currently working on. Cloaca time!
