#MugiDrawsDarkspineSonic I mixed up the idea some but hope you enjoy! First time doing the drawing while watching the stream!
#mugidrawsDarkspinesonic this is my dark spine sonic and just a drawing I made. I hope you like it.

Mugi and Axel are at it again! And I actually started drawing before the stream! So this is basically a win for me! But support Mugi the Mikeman and Axel the ToeQueen!
#MugiDrawsDarkSpineSonic I missed the last 2 or 3 streams so I wanted to participate this week. I Think I've Come a Long way in digital Art.
#mugidrawsdarkspinesonic quick wip. Couldn’t finish in time since i was watching a movie but yeah. Here’s my dark spine so far. As an extra, anotehr wip! Slisa at a masquerade

So this is one of my favorite forms. I wish we saw what kind of power he’d have if he used all 7 World Rings, considering how strong he was with just 3. Also, this is me and Slisa fighting over Axel. Enjoy!

Hold up, so like are capable of growing hair considering Baby yoshi from TTYD or that can be his spines?
@bahnloopi For Dax, it most likely would have to be his cartoony pie-shaped eyes they are kinda hard to see since he always wears sunglasses he also has no back spines but that's something I've seen other hedgehog OCS lack too
@bahnloopi Honetly, I'd say that the one thing that is unique about Match is that he doesn't have spines on his back, but only on his hair.
You can't see it in the picture, but It really is like that.
@bahnloopi My porcupine OC has purposefully rounded... well... almost everything. Rounded ears, rounded spikes, flat and rounded nose. The idea is to differentiate her from hedgehogs, but porcupines ironically have sharper spines than hedgehogs irl, so that wasn't thought through well, lol
@Touyarokii might not be your style but I truly adore the grumpy gruffness of Gen 1 Nidoking here with the reptile-y face and long spines
Flat colors/wip for Ettie's dragon form
ditching the spines for a more slender sort of honestly gross look for her
just imagine her running.... yikes

@204Magnolia No need to apologize! 🙏🏽 (Sorry I'm on my phone so I can't draw a custom example, but) you could always:
- add more tiny spines
- bend/flip them to go in different directions
- make them longer/shorter
Yeah!! I'm personally a fan of the tiny quills (like pictures 2 and 3).
its no longer christmas but knuckles is sooooo cute when he has these lil wraps on his spines
@AnixisArts Don't want to be that guy, but you should be careful with how your character's spines work. Getting rather close to Liefeld in that regard, and that's usually not a good thing.
In his writings, Aelianus said of the manticore he's heard that not only are its spines deadly poisonous, but can grow like plants if embedded in the ground - and that in its native India, manticores cubs are caught and have their tails crushed to prevent spines growing.#Folklore
