These jumping jellyfish can be seen leaping out of the warm water, and they flatten into platforms when sprayed for some reason. But normal Bloopers are squids, not jellyfish… Maybe those are related in the Mario canon? Or maybe we just care too much?

This model is horrible to use to compare, because;

1. The hair is straight out because nahobino physics
2. Arms/legs deformed to fit nahobino
3. Pls no look at head rig

It's weird how anime character design has gotten so flattened in the past decade. There's still a few notable outliers, but it ain't how it used to be. I miss top shows having overtly stylish designs and weird looking characters.

Often, characters will be Squashed Flat by some heavy object landing on their head, or by going really fast into an immovable object such as a wall. The resulting injury has the character flattened down to a paper-thin state.
