Although you say “super hero costumes,” I have to say that John Buscema’s younger brother Sal designed a lot of fantastic villains. Sal Buscema has Ruby Thursday, the Zodiac, U-Foes, and Squadron Sinister on his list. Some are pretty wild but they are memorable and long lasting!

Since the Inhumans make terrible protagonists, they are weapons of war that have sat on the shelf by their Kree makers(for the most part), the Inhumans with the Sauron looking Black Bolt would make for great villains.

They look like they need a lot less paint apps than modern characters like the swarm and the relatively simple Kablam man. (can't believe that's a funko pop and not a figure)

One of the weirder issues is that the aliens of the last two seasons are often not the villains.

Shout out to some of the villains Sam's fought over the years. Personally at this point I consider Warbringer to be his Nemesis but Sam's scuffled with a variety of Villains.

Can we acknowledge the fact that MHA is already about 300 chapters now, and Shigaraki the main shonen antagonist still haven't got his own named ultimate move. Not like your typical Shonen Jump villains.. I kinda hate and love this lol.
