I went back and revised the concept - making the wings longer and putting more detail on the feet for later. Now, because I am doing the concepts for my own modelling, keeping it rough is OK because I know in my head what's going on around the hidden areas (4/?)

Today I am working on 1/3 paintings for ! The process to get these soft lost edge areas is: wet a petal (not adjacent to any other wet petals). Add colour at the inner edge. Let petal fully dry. It takes awhile!

Enemies from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. They're usually found in cloudy areas, attacking when Kirby gets close. They heavily resemble Pacto, enemies introduced in Kirby's Dream Land 3, which attack the same way.
