TOUHOU LUNA NIGHTS
Probably one of the more unique Metroidvanias I've played. The timestop mechanic is effectively used and the bosses are very fun. I like how the plot was true to the Touhou spirit too.
A must-play for anyone who likes Touhou or SotN.

"Step-Up" is a gimmick/mechanic I've been contemplating for a little while now. A command dash/dodge that moves in with a big risk if you time it wrong. You'd get a command normal during it that either does crazy damage or opens up the opponent for a just stupid big combo. maybe?

I believe that the new gimmick introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will similar to Mega Evolution.
A mechanic that lets Pokemon to temporarily take on the form of a prehistoric ancestor or a future descendant, causing it to change appearance, type, ability and stats. (3/16)
