@JamesGa16824712 I would suggest studying on POV angles. References from comic books or manga are really good for this kind of stuff, the more you practice on it and look at it, the better.

hmmm i guess i'm a bit more willing to do harder angles on occasion now but besides that and the fact i finally have a rake brush not much has changed ajskdlflf
i then did a sketch with a bit of variation and a sketch of the basic shapes so i knew what i wanted to emphasize in the character sketch thingie. it's almost all triangles because triangles make characters look unstable & energetic & are commonly used for villains
