Day 773: Master study #1 - Yomu, one of my favorite artists. I didn't quite get the face/head shapes and angles right, but it's close. Needs more practice. I did get a little bit more familiar with my current process, though. Hopefully that's good news for future art.
Day 768: Another blind study session, this time for front-facing head/face. Not expecting perfect symmetry, but trying to get a handle on how to make cuter head/face shapes without struggling for hours. Didn't really use Loomis method here, just eyeballing angles/brow line.
Foot Anatomy Notes!
The 1x1x3 overall proportion of the foot is a handy guideline. Don't be afraid to practice drawing feet with strong, boxy angles - it's super helpful for learning and remembering foot structure!
moral of the day :
if you can't draw certain angles properly, practice in another medium first instead of doing it directly on your manga project (p sure I'm gonna get my arse laughed at)
me drawing in extreme angles coz like usual I love to t0rtvre myself
I really need to get better at these side profile angles. #MerpSketch
90s haircut are hot on guys but at the same time drawing them at slightly different angles are ... ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
More arm study.
I was trying to come up with some formula for the stretched arm based on relative angles of the joints. Look decent enough, may be?
Will look into more arm configurations tmr. https://t.co/QVRyWXqDC4
Morning practice.
I try this method to draw a certain comet's eyes from different angles as quickly as possible. I still can't believe it works so well. I did each pair within 5 minutes and without the redraw.
I need to do more so I can identify the pentagons even faster. https://t.co/dC2PH9zxaw
The Astart forces of Lord Bardaiya carving their way towards the Jamesians.
They are marching along the blood-stained beach to limit the angles of attack, the Jamesians can take.

Redrawing my AI outputs is harder than it sounds. I spent 6 periods of 45 minutes working around the proportions and angles.
how to git gud at drawing mecha for me :
I worry too much on form/shapes too much that I didn't realize I could cheat some of the angles and bend the shapes a bit
as long it's aesthetically "pleasing", go for it I guess
