Day 1363: Color Pass 2! Tonight was super frustrating. This wasn't working at all, and I'm getting frustrated with the piece. Values aren't working well, the faces were kicking my butt, and the perspective is all wonky. Might either take a break or rethink this tomorrow. :(

6. This won't surprise anyone, but... HARUKA & NAGISA!! 🥺 Nobody quite understands Haruka the way Nagisa does. And while many fail to give Nagisa the credit he deserves (THERE WOULD BE NO SWIM CLUB WITHOUT HIM!), Haruka has always made it clear just how much he values Nagisa. 💖
Day 1362: First Color Pass! I just kinda wanted to play around with an overlay and see what could work. It made the values a little too dark, so I'm going to redo it with painting from scratch again to try and have a better value spread for it! I'm still liking this piece!
Day 1361: Refined Values! I worked on this one a bit, and I'm kinda liking where it's going. I am feeling like I'm hitting a bit of a wall but I'll approach it tomorrow to see if I'm able to figure out whats wrong with it and how to make it better. Gotta keep trying to get it!
Even if we seek equality for all humans, there are still creatures that want to be immersed in a sense of superiority.
Now is the time to correct the dirty human values.

Day 1360: Second Pass! I like this illustration a lot already. Still not too satisfied with a few things though. Anatomy is sketchy and I want a stronger focal point on her face. Will have to keep tweaking values as I move forward with it to really nail it down! :D

It’s actually been harder to keep up with posting than adding to this thread. I get interrupted like every 5 mins by either kids or self care.
Anyway, values mapped out, and then refined forms before the drawing, plus possible colors + finish method strategies
#skullstudy2020 118-21. Experimenting with value, hue, and saturation. I changed one thing and kept the two other values/measurements the same
Study values for #paleostream; #Stahleckeria crossing a river, #Titanis preying a small and unlucky horse. #Dicraeosaurus with her baby are receiving a lot of meteors, sorry but I need to playing with the light ;).
Pushed the values around a bit and I think this looks better!!
