I'm fond of the color palette, especially cool blues and pink together. I also enjoy the goth-like elements to her outfit (like with the gloves and boots).

It's a simple design, in my opinion, but I suppose, there's something to like about that. It's easy to draw and understand.

- you can change the color, or pose, or bg, or anything as long as the character is recognizable and the dress stay in its original design.
(say, if you think she would look better as blonde, or her dress should be pink, or she belongs under the sea with whales, just change it!)

One design change I've considered many times for Kayla in is giving her short hair. Buuuuuuuuuuut

On the flipside, the long hair actually has a design purpose, helping to exaggerate posing in action scenes.
