In MAME, the easiest way to see use is to use the Universe BIOS, press A+B+C on the boot screen, and change language to Japan, system to Console.

gen 2 (2017) AGAIN. I think that's when they released the virtual console games in the 3DS eShop and I got obsessed with them. It didn't helped I was playing pokemon super mystery dungeon back then and my team was chikorita and cyndaquil lol
