I can assure you, both Callie and Bell are different enough that it is likely just coincidence. Don't be beaten down just because another OC is similar, be grateful that you made your own PA OC. (I outline the differences too)

Last night's study using a shot from Pride and Prejudice (2005) as reference. Huhu. I don't know how to make that glowy outline around Lizzie. And the foliage behind her. But overall, I enjoyed the process.

I thought about paralax since everything is on layers, but it can be a bit of a pain to mockup in aseprite. The double outline might create some undesirable tangents if the layers scrolled in paralax as well.

Speaking of performance, I don't know why I never thought of this before:

Up till now, I've been using an inverse-hull method for the toon outlines. This is expensive. What I'm trying now is to just Floor a VdotN and then offset the verts it masks.
