So far it's pretty much a generic weapon trail..
But since I wanted a highly stylized & cartoonish(?) weapon smears that mimics the ones in my art style,
I've applied some texture to the weapon's trail to kinda mimic those... things.

I've seen some say that they wished the Sonic movie was weirder rather than being a generic "fish out of water" story.
I see it like this: do a standard story that's semi-wierd and do it well. THEN you'll be able to ease general audiences into something MORE weird in a sequel.
People Can Fly made Painkiller, a FPS with so many unique horror visuals in 2004. That game had a true identity.
In 2020 they are making Outriders, the most bland and generic game I've ever seen... I hope you like brown concrete everywhere.
