admittedly there are some instances where the character's default standing pose is a stiff straight line but sometimes they can stand with a curve as well, and usually they have line of action for more expressive poses such as the ones below (they look better when not stiff)

I actually have done Brawl Sonic in the past. Yeah, Brawl Sonic is a lot more expressive than Ultimate Sonic though I mostly kept the same expression that Ultimate had for the render. I could see if I could update it with more expression if you'd like.

smth i'm really liking about this game is how expressive the character's art is, and their little animations while they talk. sometimes they'll have a tick, like looking to the side or swallowing and i feel like apollo justice going OH? A LIE? AN OMISION? I PERCEIVE SMTH IS WRONG

I get questions about how I make my pics more expressive or flow-y. Here's a pic of my WIP sketch that might help?? I like to draw past the lines and see if they flow into other parts of the picture, and then I exaggerate that a bit more.

it only recently hit me how much my art is changing. compare these from 2019 and a progress pic from 2021: instead of overworking every detail to the point of being crisp but stagnant, I've been using that time to be much more expressive and dynamic with the movement & lighting
