I'm starting to understand what I'm doing wrong & I realized what was wrong ever since I drew this character of mine. Koyumi. I needed to apply a smoother edge & a harder edge on top everytime I work w shading & since then, I made improvements. This is still a WIP tho.

2018 was a pretty crazy year for my development as an artist. Going left to right my work at the start of the year compared to what I've been producing at the end has so many small improvements and I can't help but feel very proud of myself.

I find it v hard to compare myself to myself but I think I can really see the improvement in being a bit more stylistic and funky and also the fact that I own a scanner and a fancy brush pen now really helps
