Speaking of performance, I don't know why I never thought of this before:

Up till now, I've been using an inverse-hull method for the toon outlines. This is expensive. What I'm trying now is to just Floor a VdotN and then offset the verts it masks.

oh boy....anyway here's the first wip of this illustration ! it was originally supposed to be just a doodle for my discord pfp but then i discovered the layer outline feature in csp that made drawing hair easy and SEXY (I then redrew the whole thing in a bigger resolution)

Ariel! I couldn't decide between a blue outline or a more contrasty black outline. I personally like the blue outline more. I have a weird relationship to contrast in pixel art. I know you're supposed use high contrast but, I don't like it in my work... Idk
