Ankylosaurus! They're so spiky and cute to me like a big lizard armadillo.

[Starting now, this bot will tweet one Digimon each hour. The amount will continue to decrease after each day that the same Digimon is generated more than once within the same day, e.g. DoruGhoramon, Submarimon, and Ankylomon today.]

It’s also very curious when you compare what dunsparce actually became to this ankylo mon. Which now makes me 98% believe that it was meant to be the dunsparce evolution that we have all wanted for decades!!

TANKYLOSAUR
The Artillery pokemon
Ability: Mega Launcher
This revived pokemon used its tail in ancient times to ward off Tyrantium. It is said a powerful gem lies with the base of the tail.

Polacanthus and Ankylosaurus by B. H. Robinson. I include both because the publishers switched the names in the captions and because the Ankylosaurus has that bonkers spikes-all-around tail that almost made me include it in the old school Scolosaurus thread.

Another dino! Decided to draw a Scolosaurus this time. An ankylosaurid from the late Cretaceous period (76 million years ago). Was inspired by hippos for the colouration :)

Scolosaurus is an extinct ankylosaur that lived in Cretaceous Canada 76.5 mya. There's two species of Scolosaurus: S. cutleri and S. Thronus.
