Day 9 of This is the tenfold rosette I started yesterday, but this time with gaps between the stars, hexagons and kites. Much harder to keep accurate - some of the stars look a little wonky! ⭐️ ⭐️ 💙💚#mathsart

Really enjoyed this one for day 8 of - a tenfold rosette from a tutorial. I even made a second one ready for colouring tomorrow.

I created this image with mathematical equations.

x=sin(v)cos(u)+v
y=sin(u)sin(v)+u
z=sin(v)
-2π≦u≦2π
-2π≦v≦π

Celtic knots were today’s . So excited to have finally learned a way to draw these.

Final count on links depends on how you connect the edges (I can’t come up with a reason why you’d necessarily choose one over the other)

I added 4 holes and there are still 8 loops. I’m not as happy with the colours in this one. I wanted it to match the other one but I think it looks a bit messy.

You are right . Holes make it weird!! I had no idea there would be only 2 loops.

Day 18 Celtic knots. If you've known me for a while, you'll recall I went through an obsessive phase with these, which has now morphed into a desire to learn actual knot theory. This is from a while ago, but it gives you the gist. Instructions below. 1/5
