thinking about ex-spider-man MC2 peter... love him. honestly one of the biggest joys of the character, I think, is how scary competent he is, whether or not he's been in the game recently.

One of my favorite moments was when Flash and Peter had one big school rumble outside getting them into trouble. Peter took the fall, but Flash didn't want him to take the fall knowing he pushed Peter. So he told the Principal it was his fault. Nice moment

I get why the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon made Harry Osborn Venom instead of Eddie Brock. Both characters have hatred for Spider-Man and jealousy for Peter. It streamlined the overall story they were telling.

Spider-Woman! I sometimes prefer the Julia Carpenter version! She was introduced in Secret Wars, had a stint with the villainous Freedom Force, starred in later issues of West Coast Avengers, & was a member of Force Works! She rocked the black Spidey togs right along with Peter.
