Yeah long strokes are hard... oh here is an example of what I mean. You can see how scratchy it is... but like I said I'm trying to just turn it into a straight up style but towing the like between sketch work and finished work is stuff to figure out. This one isn't line work tho

I think I figured it out, The Dedede post one is just a higher quality version of this old scratchy looking art which is probably from a manual, while Smash Bros uses the fan fixed version that you get by searching Dark Matter on google...
