New Balance have a cool foot scanner in their stores, they send you a link to a page that shows your 3D foot scan. Uses some proprietary binary model format but just Three.js to display so some quick Node.js couch hacking and I have me a model of my feet in STL/3MF :-)

Got a hold of a Canon FS2720U to scan all the slides I've gotten with the press kits I collect. Was a pain setting up as I had to install a virtual WinXP to get the scanner recognized. But, in the end it does the job :) My new favorite toy! Thanks

These were at one point hosted on the site and I have no idea where they went, but I'm delighted to see them back!!! Before you ask--that isn't scanner fuckery. That's the printing, which I've gone to the not-trouble of not removing. The cheap is part of the charm. :)

My printer is one of those cheap scanner/printer things. I don't think it likes these sheets.

I knew the colors wouldn't be great. Mostly wanted to see how they'd turn out. They're very sheer.

Watched Prime exclusive 'undone' this week, which is like a combination of Primer, Tales from the Loop & Looper. Interesting rotoscoping style which owes a great debt to Richard Linklater's Waking Life & A Scanner Darkly. I'm even reminded of the glorious animated Aeon Flux.Great
