February Spotlight: Jiro Taniguchi (14 August 1947 – 11 February 2017) was a Japanese manga master that wrote and drew dozens of titles and gained several prizes for his work. Among others, the Osamu Tezuka Culture Award, the Shogakukan prize and the Alph'Art at the Angoulême.

@notthemarsh @mike_daws0n Charmy, along with Amy are from the Sonic manga published by Shogakukan in 1992 and ran until 1994. They both originated there in 1992.
@DeepDragon63 @JoestarSan @Igadevil Yes, I know, I'm a big fan of Yokoyama and Ishinomori! But I was wrong, the Tetsujin covers are not Shogakukan Bunko, they are Akita Bunko. Here are other similar covers for Ishinomori works by the two companies:
