The Black Sails portrayal of Anne Bonney is fantastic. All the dirty, gritty, savagery one would imagine, but also a soft, naive feel to so much she experiences throughout the show. Lashing out from uncertainty because really, what else would a pirate do? @ClaraPaget killed it.

Why does Curator, @elizabethwinnel, like it? "I feel unsettled and intrigued by the narrative implied. Although the image might appear simple, the artist has carefully applied colors, controlled forms, and shape to create tension, and uncertainty."
And whenever
I want you
the most...
You disappear
in clouds of
uncertainty...
Question my love
but can't feel
my pain...
Gets angry
can't hold
my hand
to say...
You really
care...

Here’s the cover to my song Uncertainty, had a super talented graphic artist @timbaksh draw this character from Full Metal Alchemist w/ a lil twist 🥀
@ImBrendanNorth @fewocious was my 1st piece. Came at a time where I lost my job and there was a lot of uncertainty. This piece, "Moving on" really resonated and encouraged me to keep pushing. I'm now working in a job I love and will always treasure this piece for being part of my journey here

On today's podcast, Prof. Anders Engberg-Pedersen @SyddanskUni explains that the the scale of the Napoleonic Wars changed how comprehensible people thought war was, with a move from universal principles to an emphasis on chaos, uncertainty & the fog of war:https://t.co/WG8yUV4Cb8
tuned.
Fear, uncertainty and doubt. Emotions I've become familiar with, but the more I create the more I find solace as an artist - serving as a shield from all the outside noise I have no control over.
Gen Con was an oasis of joy in the nebulous uncertainty we call the now-times. Like a hug made of your favorite cartoons: familiarity, nostalgia, and a bit weird and overwhelming. But all welcome and wonderful. Thank you to everyone who came to see us! #gencon #gencon2021
Psst...
The new one's more accurate.
The old fanTL oddly omits Shirou's uncertainty in the scene:
1) It only "probably" (おそらく) takes less than a second.
2) Shirou's only speaking hypothetically (たとえ) about falling into Hell. He hasn't done anything to deserve it (yet). https://t.co/nN5zRnZ4bU
@iknowkhari Exploring the uncertainty of living as a young Black person under the weight of interpersonal things like family, mental health, death etc by highlighting absurdities. Referencing pop culture and art history. (**)
https://t.co/N3mw8I5F2g All problems are temporary. Love, Kindness, and Courage above fear. Comfort one another. If you don't know what to say, just listen. Offer support. And lets all try to be good to ourselves and to others during these tumultuous times of uncertainty.
It has been 20 years since 9/11. It is hard to explain it to people who were not old enough to remember or not born yet. I can see the fear, chaos and uncertainty in the art I made in 2001 and 2002.
