Not sure if it may be the same, but I use Krita and the spray brush has give me good results for skin texture, with a wet watercolor for some highlights, I'm still meh at portraits but it does seem to give a decent result

I wonder why these stars aren't drawn directly onto the skin texture, is it to avoid stretching with blinking??

Hello everyone, i've just finished this study. Looking for brush variation (texture, direction and size), color and shape variation (Internal, silhouette, light, shadow and negative shape)

final thoughts/tldr: stick to the compositing trick to get the full texture, not just one color. it is nice though to check it in real time so I can make decisions quicker

speaking of quick, here's Aqua contemplating made in 5 minutes with freestyle! speedrun WR👏

I know that a guy named SuperGodzillaGaming has already made a EVA-01 Kiryu texture, but I wanted to make my own version, the chest piece was a bit hard to pull off but I am glad how this came out overall

I made a new Mandalorian character. I went far on the helmet texture, and I'm really fond of the results! Lightly equipped, but plenty of wear and tear!

A start to the fuzzening. It's probably mostly going to come out with the texture, but hopefully it's still a little noticeable.

grgrgr I finally figured out how to texture, ill continue this in a bit after I finish up some 2d stuff also thinking abt drawing a certain fossil loomian for the next semi realistic drawing

Its not actually mcyt related, its a piece called “The Fall of a Titan” that i made a few months ago, before i even joined twt. I love the texture, the colors mostly drained of life. I love the way he (has no name yet) is positioned, trying to protect himself from the light! :)

I was curious about what other possible game knowledge it had buried away. This is "a wizard in the style of yoshitaka amano" - it's not quite there but if you know Amano's work, it has some of the texture, the colours, the linework. It's definitely *close*.

It works with basically any input texture, here I drew some Binding of Isaac items and characters and organized the sheet in a precise way to enable randomly selecting each section through UV masking in the shader
