50/365. The claymore. A large 2-handed broadsword, iconic to Scotland. I think I read somewhere that the grip is akin to holding a baseball bat. The right hand points the blade. And the left gives it power.

The Lord Lyon gave a talk to the Tay Probus Club in Perth. There were 50 members present who asked various questions on the Court of the Court of Lord Lyon. There was particular interest in the arms of Hydro Electric Scotland Arms.

Did you know The Edinburgh Grand used to be the headquarters of The Royal Bank of Scotland? The old banking hall took up most of the ground floor and was beautifully fitted out with monochrome Korkoid flooring and counters made from red breche sanguine and Irish black marble.
