i have been really enjoying 'a returner's magic should be special'. some of the story threads are kind of sloppy, but it's fun and does interesting things.

also the art is a banger (lots of bonus points for hand drawn backgrounds instead of 3d!!!)

That's speculation of course. But the scale and comparisons is one that lives in my head rent free.

There is also the fact that Turner's work is beautiful. He paints water like glass. His ability to capture waves in a single moment is probably my favourite thing about his work.

Although the character of Triangle Strategy reminds me of this painting, I think it doesn't have an emphasis on the setting in contrast to the character, and the art style is also different, it reminds me more of William Turner's paintings
