I'm still learning and will probably develop a more efficient workflow over time but so far my strategy is to sketch, slap down general colors, then refine those colors and outline at the same time. Also copious use of the lasso tool and flipping the canvas a million times

reshaded the outlines of the armor and changed the chestplate a bit, now i like how they look like a lot more

IF cherry cookie gets a buff, she might get a harlequin costume, like her Halloween costume from LINE/Kakao Cookie Run (it's not transparent because the Twitter app for Android messes up the outline)

Me: I really don't like doing outlines even if they go faster and this is gonna be a little personal art...but that's all the more reason to treat myself to some basic painting

too tired to do anything substantial, so I build toon shader with maps support, halftone, transparency and emission
still need to figure out outline, for now it is very trashy with semi-transparent stuff
