idk if this makes sense to anyone but a thing i personally like to do when designing characters: choosing basic colors (like pure colors, grays, and pure black/white) so i can alter colors every time and not feel obligated to stick to highly specific colors from their ref sheet!!

In my previous works, I normally put a lot of time to set up a very clean linework or establish the values with grayscale only. I felt very inspired for this piece so I decided to dive straight in with the colors. It was a perilous adventure to say the least!
