The general design and light effects seem interesting and I dig it, but I would still have to see it in it's intended way. The entire movie doesn't sound like it would be necessarily bad, but it does kind of raise some eyebrows, especially when you look at the concept art.

I typically start with "hyperrealistic painting" and use one of a couple famous natural landscape painters, especially john constable or thomas cole. That generates images like this one, which are beautiful but have more blurred edges

Infinite Space is one of my favourite games of all time and I implore anyone to play who may be interested in an incredibly detailed space JRPG. Despite being a DS game it is full of detail, especially in the ship designs, and an awesome story and soundtrack to boot!
