1. 3d assets
i started using clip studio's 3d assets for posing characters in almost every comic episode, and even made my own 3d head for proportional reference. it's been life changing and my art has grown in leaps and bounds bc of it

Sora is probably based partly off of Sion from THE BOUNCER, another game Nomura worked on, and he has more proportionally regular shoes, so I do think the Mickey shoes thing makes sense, granted the two games also went for very different looks overall.
