Oh, yeah. It's very apparent in the Manga.
In the first panels you see Anasui they're obviously female, but then a chapter later they are suddenly male without any explanation (but still same outfit). It's almost hilarious. 😆

I think my explanation for my framing technique is part vanishing point, part film maker approach.

When I did my Disney scene redraw, I had to figure out how Bastet’s belly would look from that angle. It took examining some reference pics and guess work to achieve that.
