wanted to show off my old art compared to what i make now. (using an oc of mine hehe)
left was made when i was most likely 15-16 and the right is what i made this year at 21! im still improving but looking at what i made back then vs now has made me realize how far i've come. https://t.co/2B78Wc3GYO
July 2021 compared to July 2022
Looking back I can tell I improved how I draw my Sonic, giving him better proportions and fixing his head, eyes, and quills
I try my best 💫 https://t.co/nWrIodAsAR
@chelseakenna Maaan here’s some art from 2019-age 22 compared to now-age 25!! (First 2 r old second 2 r new) i not only got better at digital art but developed my style in general! Only thing stopping someone from getting better is themselves! Gotta try n practice often to get better 🤝
Toriyama's 2015 Design of Jaco's modern spaceship for Dragon Ball Super — Compared to his ride in "Jaco the Galactic Patrolman", this model is much more spacious due to its roundness & you can climb in through both sides

anyways i’m 18 now and a tad better at art compared to when i was 9 a ha haaaaaa drop a follow if u want i meaannn 🥸🥸
It can be easy to slip into that mentality when you compare yourselves to others around you, but art can continue to improve at any age! I drew the left three years ago and past me would've been shocked to see my art today :) https://t.co/gxCPLAT1zy
I tried to show traditional art bc I didn't have a tablet until my later teens, but I DID find some of my old digital art from 2012 compared to now
Your art will change so much with time! It will look completely different from now! The key is that you have to keep doing it.
This (left) is about as far back as I can go using just the internet (12-15). Compared to work I did in my early 30s on the right:
@GunnerMcGrath I wish I had some! I lost touch with her after college unfortunately.
I was able to find some slightly older work of mine (left) from about ages 12-15, (keep in mind this is after about 12-15 years of almost daily practice). Compared to more recent work in my 30s (right):
why does the water poogle look so fucked up compared to other water pets #nessopets
ive seen some people posting their art from when they were younger to show how quickly progress can be made! i didn't start REALLY drawing until i was like 16 and ive improved so much since then! the first two images are from 2017, compared to some of my most recent on the bottom
I wanted to compare some josuke portraits I’ve done!
Feb 2020 - July 2020 - April 2021 - August 2022
1st - 2016
2nd - 2018
3rd - 2022
My skills for at least 5 years was pretty much the same as the first pic. My skills drastically improved from 2019-2022 compared to 2000-2016. I just started seriously studying anatomy this year.
Improvement is different for everybody. https://t.co/8wHCvJiofY
TFW You’re really proud of something you did and then next second you see someone do it so much better than you 🥲
I know I shouldn’t compare too much and blah blah blah but it still feels bad 🥲 I’ll keep working hard to do MY best!
Commission for @rasponov (deactivated)
This is slightly different compared to my normal stuff, but I still wanted to share.
i love nicholas roerich's paintings 😭🫶 my parody can't even compare...there's two versions of it, one from 1912 (left) and 1942 (right). i can't find good quality images of them :(
@Luxiemsimping The full views are so cute too!
No idea why Elira's is so short compared to the others www
