@Atreyu_GC it was mostly my mom, who is chinese-samoan-hawaiian (her chinese heritage is dominant). i have a much darker complexion than her, and dark skin is considered unattractive/a sign of poverty for most traditional people here
yes when I first put the overlay layer on this piece, Monica looked ashy as hell but guess what I did?? Adjusted her skin color so I can keep the soft palette while keeping her true complexion.

Prices vary, but it’s usually $15+ USD for sketches, $60+ USD for icons, and $100-$200+ USD for fully shaded + background work. I mostly work on quotes since my prices are based on complexity.
