I bought a first edition Caldecott last year for under 20 pounds. Much cheaper 2nd edition. A signed limited edition Burne Hogarth in 'fill a bag with secondhand books for $5' store. There are lots of interesting vintage books that children can buy for very little outlay.

Asked for a brown dipper hat from hot topic and showed pics. Blank face and says we don't sell that. So I emailed a request. Months later, they got it and I had it delivered to their store. I see the same guy from months ago and I smiled. He gave me my hat 🐸👍
