Taishou Otome Otogibanashi was good. An extremely cute and drama filled romance story that builds on the adaptation material. Music was very atmospheric. The historical setting was done very well. I hope they adapt the sequel as well!

As a child of 70’s & 80’s. My early anime art style that I really wish could make a resurgence is the “dark, noir style”. The music was atmospheric jazz sound. Heavy use of black and bold line weights. Ninja Scroll is another anime in this vein 😊
