I often despair over watercolour, but sometimes rejoice - this started as a Curlew 🤔 but then an Eider emerged! Calling it “Eider on an icy sea” 😉 It tells me best results when subconscious takes over, just let paint wander. Many thanks for the feedback, have a good night all👍

There are oh so many, but two that stand out for me are “Wind From the Sea” and “Last Light” by Andrew Wyeth. My parents took me to the Brandywine museum as a teen and I got to see 3 generations of Wyeth paintings and they were just breathtaking. Very visceral.
