yes!! it works for poses and character design too, exaggerating and simplifying shapes are really good tools for stylized art and you can push em to enhance which vibes you want ! :3

Sonic CD Special - Bandado's New Redesign.

Still trying to find a good way to simplify shapes based on distance, and I think this is a good way to go about it:

Edge detection based on GBuffer normals, but the leaf shader flattens the normals based on distance from the camera 🌿

That's up to you! If you can simplify the text to a plain text/typed format, I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue! You want it to be subtle, something you actively have to look for in order to see. Here you can see this art has a logo in the corner, on the cape, and a hidden one+

After reading up on Chunfeng's story I fell more in love with her as a character. I love the Hmong pattern used in the original, though I had to simplify it for reasons.
