oh of course! yuji uekawa is a is an artist at sega and is a member of sonic team. he is famous for designing modern sonic in sonic adventure, as well as many other sonic artworks he made in early 2000s.

Jay Axer's Sonic artwork was pretty cool. It's reminds me a lot of the SA1 and 2 Era Uekawa artwork but with a sort of anime look. (Pic 1).
