Meet December! she's a rework of an old design we had. where she was timid before, she's a fighter now! Experienced Fitness Trainer and Masseuse, she's eager to show off her newfound strength and confidence...though, that's often foiled by how easily flustered/embarrassed she is.

So the pencil drawing was actually a year ago. I hadn't drawn my OC's in years and trying to draw them from memory was an absolutely crushing blow to my confidence.

I know I keep posting OC stuff but I'm just incredibly happy I've made some progress in my style/art etc.

So said something about a slightly chubby Midori, so I drew a slightly chubby Midori with my Kase in casual clothing.
While Midori is boasting about herself, Kase is stuck in a sort of trance due to having fallen in love with both Midori's cuteness and confidence.

I did a I've been feeling a little down on my slow progress, but being able to see my progress like this 100% boosted my confidence. (I also feel back to my comfort white hair and red eyes colour scheme haha)

One of the most amazing fossils I have studied is KNM ER 18925, a complete skull and mandible of Theropithecus oswaldi that allowed me to reconstruct the animal's head with unusual confidence. Exepctional specimens like this are a paleoartist's dream!

Y'all need to realize that people aren't born with perfect skills. It's a long way until art becomes what you want it to be. Putting someone down at ANY skill level can be so damaging to someone's self-confidence. Improvement is hard work. Respect people's efforts. 👍
