Looking at the Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster trailer again, this JP and EN trailer has a focus on Georg shot because the devs is being worked on by Takahiro Sakiyama now, the main director of the Suikoden V (PS2). 😄

Still kind of sad we never see his octoling form in-game (and now Cuttlefish's squid form was revealed). The devs don't confirm if he's just unable to transform or doesn't want to. Big scary octopus is iconic. Still, back then Octavio was kinda... oops sorry you had to read this

Realized something about Kiriko's development.

Most of heroes had their character designed around a kit the devs were wanting to implement. If the kit didn't fit the character, they would swap them out (Mauga for Sigma).

Kiriko may be the opposite based on the concept art.
