Of course we can't leave out Jango Fett himself. After being inducted into the True Mandalorians, he quickly rose through the ranks and eventually became the new Mand'alor, replacing Jaster Mereel. Jango was later killed by Mace Windu on Geonosis.

Jango was able to escape the Death Watch and was taken in by True Mandalorian leader, Jaster Mereel. Jaster adopted him as his son and heir. Jaster was later betrayed by his second in command and was killed.
