I realized i never posted this here but here's my first actual animation I made from scratch for @.BobaPup that took like 2 weeks I think?? for an art contest and I learned a bunch of shortcuts and stuff to speed up the process for next time

Using the Huion Inspiroy tablet brings back memories of my old Wacom Bamboo, but that has only 2 keys. This has 8 programmable shortcut keys. I was able to do a quick sketch with ease!
Keys I used:
1 draw
2 pen size up
3 pen size down
4 zoom in
5 zoom out
6 erase
7 pan
8 Undo

The glowy boxes and the lines on her suit just kinda flash asymmetrically, and all of this was just done by frame animation in Photoshop because I hate myself!!

Also the glowing boxes lead to hidden app shortcuts but pretend you didn't hear that!

Attention artists!

If you're using a monitor tablet for art, consider using a Joycon for it if you have a Switch!

All you need is a USB dongle (cheap!) and use JoyToKey, and then you can set up all of your shortcuts on the Joycon. It's super comfy and amazing for productivity!

So I’ve been looking into express key devices for a while and I’ve recently discovered this controller device called TourBox NEO.
Basically, it’s a device that lets you assign various shortcuts/express keys to a set of buttons and dials. :D

5. Proudest Artwork? It changes often. Has to! As I grow, works that I considered my best become bad, hah. But for now, it's the Clown. Mostly because it was such a huge test for me. Full digital painting, no linework, no trick, no symmetry to aid me, no shortcuts. Felt great.
